What kind of scale do you use to weigh yourself?

How'd you find out it was 8lbs off? We just have some generic digital scale, no idea if it's accurate or not.

Doesn't really matter if its calibration is off - more important to compare your weight day to day.

Cheap Kmart special. I don't know if it's accurate, but it's precise.:D

Accurate = the measurements are generally centered around where they are supposed to be.
Precise = the measurements are clustered really close to one another.
It is possible to be precise, but not accurate. It is also possible to be accurate, but not precise.
Accuracy and precision are where it's at. :)

I weigh myself throughout the day when I'm bored with a cheap digital scale... and I was surprised to find out that my weight fluctuated up to 6 pounds throughout the day.

Well, you know, with bathroom breaks and all.

Why is it important? A mirror is a better judge of weight. Yep! Still fat as fuck! ;)

I use one of the old medical scales at my gym (the ones where you move that metal piece to the left or right).

I use a Richter scale. Then again, I could probably stand to lose a few pounds.

My scale is off too. It keeps saying I weigh 190, but my driver's license says 155, and you can't lie on those things. That's a government document right there.

Seriously, how do you know your scale is 8 pounds off? Did you put an 8 pound weight on it and it said zero?

I use a cheapo digital scale. I've checked with the scale at the gym and doctors office, which both match my home scale.

Electronic. I have this scale that measures your weight, BMI, percent body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, and a slew of other things.

It scares me to go on it
