What kind of sandals do you wear?

Berkies all the way. When coins were tight I tried some cheap Berkie look alikes, they are not the same.

Trouble with Berkies is the expense, then they are pretty fragile, don't go wading in them, don't climb ladders in them, don't let the soles wear to thin. Lots of don'ts and if you slip up you can trash a pair in a hurry. I have been wearing them for about 25 years, and have trashed several pair, so those don'ts are pretty much personal experiance. I think the fact that I weigh 240lbs tends to shorten the life a bit also. I need to resole them about every year. But they are heaven on feet!
 
i dont get it, about guys who wear those girly type sandals... bircks etc. me, i only wear nike or addidas sport sandals, the kind that have a strap that go across, not a thong...
but that's just me.
 
Reef Convertibles. Not too expensive that you would think twice about wading through a water while wearing them, strong enough to hold up if you do.
I wore sandals a lot more when I was still in school. Can't wear sandals at work. I have a pair of Skechers leather sandals that I can get away with, but it just isn't the same.
 
Nike Straprunner IV's.

I use them in the summer on my private beach. Or they're good for crabbing in the summer, in the brackish stream at the end of the beach. You need good traction on the sandals to react quickly with the net, cuz crabs aren't slow when they see ya.
