What kind of RAM will the Tulatin take?

Ok cause i was going to stock up on some more pc133, but i thought about it and decided that i probably should wait to find out for sure... When is crucial going to make cas 2 pc2100?

Wouldn't that depend on the motherboard? Are the new mobos that support Tualatin going to use DDR, SDR, or RDRAM? Or are there going to be different boards that support different memory?

i agree with above, i think it totally depends on the motherboard. if the rumors are true and you can run it on a bx board (well you get the idea) 🙂

That would be cool, anyone know when we will be getting more info, arent they being released at the beginning of July?

well, i guess i will have to change my answer.. 🙁..

but i still say, the MAIN STREAM ram for it will be DDR.. 😉!!!!!!!

The TUSL2 is the i815E B0 and will be SDRAM.

But there is the Via Apollo Pro266T or whatever it's called that supports DDR for it. And I'm sure there will be a chipset somewhere that supports RDRAM.

I'll be damned if I touch a Via chipset again, and RDRAM is useless except for the P4 so I'll stay with good old SDRAM.
