what kind of PSU will I need for SLI?

for this kind of system:

CPU: A64 3000+
Mobo: Asus A8N SLI
Video: Leadtek 6600GT x 2
RAM: OCZ Enhanced Latency 256MB x2

I have a Thermaltake 420W...will that be enough?

For the A8N-SLI use a top quality PS with at least 18a on the 12v rail.
Stay with the top makers Antec, OCZ, Fortron etc.

For a single VGA card with avg number of components 350w-450w 18a-25a 12v rail
For SLI and several drives 500w+ 25a-40a 12v rail

Don't mistake watts for quality!!! A flashy off brand 500-600watt can fry this board and take most of your stuff with it! Power supplies are like stereo amps, its easy and cheap to produce high watts. But to produce high watts, fast and stable, with the proper safety and security features is another story.

How are Thermaltakes PSU's?

edit: and oh, I just looked at the "Qualified Vendors List" for the RAM...and tahts a pretty limited list. How seriously should I take it? I have RAM from OCZ...it'll still work right? I ask because OCZ isn't on that list....

OCZ should work fine. If you get another power supply get an atx 2.0 version. One with the 24pin instead of 20pin atx plug.
