I am new to the digital camera era and I just purchased a Canon A70. I have a Lexmark X5150 printer (pretty new) and I am wondering what kind of photo paper I should use for printing with my A70 pictures. Also, where is the best place to get this paper?

All i know there are the 'matted' and the 'glossy' papers. Glossy are much better of course. Aside from the different brands, say Staples generic brand, HP brand, Epson, etc, i don't know if there's a great difference or not.

I know when I worked at Best Buy the HP representative always used to say HP paper was specially designed to work with HP printers/HP ink. I think I am just going to head out to an office supply store and pick up some Kodak glossy photo paper....I don't think I can go wrong with that.

I have not heard great things regarding Kodack but I know very little regarding photo paper.

I just picked up some Jet Print Pro paper pretty cheap (buy 1 get 1 free) from Staples and compared photo prints to the free samples of Canon paper from my printer and saw some slight variations in colors but I am satisfied.

BTW I am using a Canon a80 along with a Canon i900d
