What kind of personal entertainment device should I take on a long flight?

I'm in Business/First on the flight, so it does have some on-demand entertainment. I don't, however, have an Ipod, any other MP3 player or video device, and was thinking about buying something for the trip. Flight will be about 12-14 hours. Secondly, I do have my laptop, so I assume I could just hook into it, but I wouldn't mind having an MP3 player that was small -- especially if it had a kit or ability to broadcast on FM, so that when I pick up my car I can do so....

What do they run for, and what the hell are they exactly. I assume this is the "PSP" but I know nothing about them...

iPod will last you through although my battery @ 12 hrs isn't too good for a trans-pacific flight. That's why I always have my backup K750i MP3 phone which does 14 hrs of MP3s... I need to get it flashed to W800i though so I can have flight mode (mp3 player on only) so planes dont fall out of the sky cuz of me

12-14 hrs? I think a book would be your best bet.

As far as mp3 players, it depends on how much storage you want, your budget, style etc etc. And FM transmitters usually aren't built in but you can get a cheap one at costco that works very well. It plugs into your cigarettte plug and u plug it into the audio jack of your mp3 player. Works for all mp3 players.

try sleeping , i just flew 22 hours a few days back, sleeping really helps, specially the day after you land

laptop with 17'' creen and 10)GB of HD movies

or at least that is what i would do:|

EVERYONE on the plane would be looking over my shoulder😀

I will have reading material, but it is only good for so much. I'm an extremely fast reader, so I typically read a 300 page book in about an hour and a half. On my BHM-ATL-LGA flight last month I finished off 6 books on the way up and back total. I will read and have newspapers and such, but I wanted something to focus my ears off of the plane and to just relax to. I was really thinking about an MP3 players, because I don't really play video games.

I'll have my Laptop, so I can watch Movies on it. 15.4in widescreen, so plenty big.

Sounds like you're set up then. Just make sure you have noise canceling headphones.
