Well, I went to a store and bought some flat black paint. It looks nice but I notice that it kind of "flakes". I mean, there was some on the floor and I was able to sweep it with a broom. It was like fine dust.

Now I`m concerned. I`m thinking maybe I should use some sandpaper to take it off and use some other paint.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Hey, I just saw some BBQ paint (high temperature paint). Is that better than regular spray paint for metal? Would you still need to use a primer with that?

I've painted the inside of two cases black and the first time I tried it I had the same problem as yourself.

The second time I still didn't prime (Lazy and Impatient) but I used an Enamel Spray paint and it worked phenomenally.

It doesn't flake, super durable, nice shine, and looks quite professional. I wish I had pics to show you but I'm at work right now, maybe I'll update with pics later. Anyway, I hope this works for you because I got great results.
