i know powder coat is very safe for electronics but what about auto paint? powder coat is really expensive and i'm looking for somewhat cheaper.

so, my plan is to paint inside my briefcase and install computer parts inside.

paste wax, polyurethane, krylon, etc.

any resolutions?

You didn't mention what your attache case is made of.

I would get some aluminum sheet and cut and bend it to fit - glue in place. The top and bottom aluminum liners should be connected together with heavy ground wires or braids.

There is conductive paint out there but I wouldn't know where to find it.

Last year I did read of a paint that when given an electrical charge would kill cell phone reception within theaters. Prolly transmission too. I must have read about it over at MajorGeeks in the Way Off Base section.

All I got.
