What kind of paint for a door?

I need to repaint my inside doors. They are brand new 6 panel doors which are beige and I need to get them off-white. What kind of paint should I use for the doors? Semi-gloss, flat, latex, satin? I also want to repaint my wood trim around the house with the same paint so it would need to be used for both.
