What kind of oil leak do you think this is?

I went and looked at a cheap Honda Civic from a guy that is moving out of state, it runs and drives but it has this bad oil leak

This is a car I would be buying to resell, it is a 2001 Honda Civic

Looks like the head gasket...? Which end did you take a pic of...? The front end or the rear end of the engine...? Cant quite tell...?

Well looked at it again and it appears to be the rear of the engine so I think I would stick with the head gasket...

one thing might help you get a better deal is if the airbags were not replaced..just be careful driving it.

The area around the Valve cover & gasket looks relatively dry. The oiliest area looks to be coming from the front of the motor , probably about where the power steering pump lives and plays ... so I'm sticking to the block of previous text.
