What kind of MP3 player to get?? (cheap)

i'm looking for a good cheap mp3 player, best buy is out of the nike ones, not sure if fry's still has them....

anyone got any suggestions.... don't really want to spend a whole lot..

I'm a fan of the CD/MP3 players (AKA walkman). Burn your songs to the CD in MP3 format and get about 4 hours of play! About 120 bucks for a good one with a car kit. Comes with 120 second anti-skip in CD mode twice that in MP3 mode. Some even support the Windows format.

I agree with mikable. Except that if you go in MP3 format, you can usually squeeze about 7-8 hours of music on a single CD! Beats the hell out of a memory usage mp3 player... unless you like to jog with it

duno how they work but I've seen "jog proof" cd/mp3 players out there. Read the propaganda on the package and it claimed it was "skip-proof" for $$$ it better be!
