I had a 17" KDS, which is now on my server. I had a 19" ViewSonic PS790, which is now on my wife's pc. Now I use a Sony E500 21" flatscreen. It is, by far, the best of the 3 I currently own.

I have a Viewsonic E771 17", not flat, but does the job a very decent 17" monitor with decent refresh rates. For it being their budget model, i'd give it a 8/10, 10 being the best.

Hitachi CM823F 21" flat screen CRT This monitor has very bright and vibrant colors and supports high refresh rates. for example 1600x1200 at 95 hz. I play games online a lot so this has been a great monitor for me.

19" Sony CPD-G420.

It's got a flat screen, very vibrant and bright colours and razor sharp text. 1600 x 1200 x 85 Hz looks awesome for 2D and 3D.

EIZO F930 21" running at 1600x1200 and 100Hz refresh. Sharp as a razor even in the corners.

I've used a Samsung 700NF, which is going to my home computer, and now I have a Dell P992 for my college computer..

Both excellent monitors, both AG.

Currently using a Viewsong G75f. Great monitor, but I'm looking to upgrade to a 19.

Currently running at 1152x864 @ 85Hz. Great for work and gaming.

currently using a "refurb" Sony G520 21"(no difference from new except it was under $400). I Iove an aperture grill monitor... and if I had to buy a monitor at full price I would have bought a NEC Fe950+ or comparable since it has as good/better picture than sony at about $100 less (of course I'm talking 19' monitors here).

The best bargain I've seen though is a Samsung 950b 19"@buy.com for $184.02 w/ free shipping... I was very suprised at the quality of the screen despite the cost of the monitor, great for someone on a budget. I have to have a monitor that does at least 85Hz @ 1600x1200 though, so the Samsung isn't for me.

Planar CT1904ADU is the only one hooked up right now... I also have a Samsung SyncMaster 753DF laying around, which I may eventually use in a dual monitor setup. Maybe I'll try that out later today. :)

iiYama 17" About 4-5 years old. There high end 17" at the time. True flat screen.

I want to upgrade to a 21", but a 19" is more economical. I'll do this in about 6-9 months. Need Doom 3 :)

KDS Rad 5 15" LCD
Dell 15" LCD

Both monitors are great. I am more fond of the KDS though.

I have eight monitors, but my favourite (due to excellent image quality, reliability, and very high resolutions) is the iiyama 22" visionmaster pro 512 that I recently purchased from neutron in the retail box for $800 shipped. It's based on the Mitsubishi Diamondtron-NF CRT, but it is capable of 2048 x 1536 @85 Hz. It also has a much higher bandwidth than most 21" monitors: 390MHz. I highly recommend it to people who want 19" depth in a 22" monitor (it's also lighter than my Sony Trinitron 21"). Link
