What Memory should I use with this Processor?
PENTIUM 4 2.5 533 , 2.53GHz, 533Mhz FSB, Socket 478
DDR or Rambus?

There are new Granitebay mother boards for the DDR stuff but Rambus has great bandwitdh.

If you were to take a poll though I would imagine that most of us here have DDR.

most overclockers as well will choose ddr
rdram isnt a very good overclocker, but if you can get it overclocked it goes pretty high ...
memory bandwidth wise i would get rdram if you dont plan on overclocking
ddr you can overclock for the most part and get almost to rdram levels, sometimes higher

i would get ddr

I would go RIMM4200 RDRAM and OC a little. You won't get massive overclocks, but you will have more memory bandwidth.

If you wanted to pay a bit more, go with a Granite Bay mobo, dual DDR and it is damn near R4200 performance! But the mobos are a bit expensive.
