Memory that is slightly OC'able.

LMK

i'm thinking OCZ, Kingston, or Corsair. PCxxxx what speeds will i need for minimal running the 800fsb.. cause i know you cant use pc2100 on it..

Pretty much.
I would get the new OCZ EL PC3700 Gold...
From what I've seen, consistent DDR500+. Even Evan Lieb has some running at or around DDR500. They are not made for low latency, they are made for high speed. Perfect for the bandwidth starved P4. Not so good for the low latency mongoring AthlonXP. ExcaliberPC has them for $85/ 256mb stick.

I know this is an old and nearly dead thread, buuut....onza, I'm running Kingston Hyper X 3500 275fsb at 4/5 ratio (meaning 220 for the RAM) with absolutely rock solid stability. I like this stuff 'cuz I got it cheap ($69 for a 256MB stick) and it gives me the room I need to clock pretty well during the hot summer when OCing is limited anyways due to ambient temps. Plus I wanted to save my $$ for later this summer of early fall when we begin to see lots of high quality low latency RAM that does ~250MHz and up at 2-2-2-5. Otherwise, I woulda gone for the Hardcorecooling CH-5 based RAM or the Winbond CH-5/CH-6 sticks.

I personally went with Twinmos/Winbond CH-5 chipped PC3200 from memoryx.net It's got the same NONOVERCLOCKED as the OCZ. The OCZ is oc'd from a base of pc3200 CH-5 chips generally. Plus it's $89/512mb stick.
