That does look good.

I have a container of that Kirkland Maple Syrup in my fridge... haven't touched it for must be 3-4 years! If I use some syrup it's the imitation stuff I got at Costco. Don't often touch the stuff. Make my own whole wheat rye bread. Hmm, maybe I'll make French toast this morning... Actually, I'll probably eat one of the eleven bagels I made yesterday, haven't had one yet. Already had my morning wake up coffee.

Edit: Notice you said that bread is home made. Guess I could make similar just by dropping some walnuts in my dough. I get them at Costco too! I'm missing the place, I wouldn't dare go there for a while. That's why I'm making my own bagels. We're peaking here. I always make my own bread, though. Even pizza. I just haven't Jonesed for pizza for quite a while. I have a pizza dough in the freezer, home made sauce in jars, plenty of cheese. Just waiting for the impulse! :)

Soups!

Beef back ribs soup. My favorite soup. These were the back ribs I removed from bone-in ribeye roasts I bought.

In the pot with chunks of radish, onions, green onions, cloves of garlic, and whole peppercorn. I also put in chunk of picanha meat I had in the freezer.

Let it cook on the stovetop for couple of hours and voila! Best beef soup in the world.

Add some glass noodles and bowl of rice and it's heaven

Then this morning with the leftover beef soup, I converted it to breakfast pho. It's easy to add star anise, coriander seeds, fish sauce, etc to the existing beef soup to make homemade pho. So easy and so good.

Today, I trimmed some off one of my plum trees because it was shading the tomato I planted from 4" pot 5 days ago. Got hungry and whipped up a smoothy:

Smoothy:
--------
Kefir (DIY from packets, I make repeat batches from ~2 T and milk)
frozen bananas and blueberries
Apple
Orange
A dried apricot

A bowl of split peas and rice served with peas. For dessert I'm eating a vanilla banana strawberry walnut smoothie. I threw in some oats, celery and hemp seeds. It is delicious and I may fix another :)

I've had a sourdough start for years but never did much with it. Now, like it appears is suddenly the big fad under lockdown, I'm actually baking with it.

Also making yogurt. Also making wine. Smoking in the Kamado. Basically stuff I always have done, although I don't usually do them through the winter. Now that spring is upon us I'm going them again, but under the stay-at-home order.

Damn, glad to have found another person besides myself who owns smartphone with a camera. You know everyone here still owns dumb phone with no camera.

Looks good man.

more than likely 90% of posters have a cell phone with camera. Most of take lousy pictures or are too busy to take photos of what we cook.

Very nice, Iron Woode! Glad to see you used the free government stimulus money to finally upgrade your dumb phone to smartphone with a camera. :p
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. I should use my Cannon camera instead but I was lazy.

Corned beef was a casualty of the Great Stupid. Costco has great corned beef but I haven’t been able to get in the store since late February due to the mob. Yesterday the line to get in was still wrapped around the store.

I had some smoked brisket and pulled pork in the freezer so I decided to make Brunswick stew. I put all the ingredients in the crockpot before I went to bed last night.

I almost never use my Canon camera these days. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 that takes very good pics.

I've been making comfort food. We had braised short ribs last weekend and I have some yeast on order because all the local stores are out of it. I intend to bake some bread once the yeast arrives.

if I had some raisins I would make some raisin bread as I have flour and yeast but no baking powder yet.
