they are within 30 ft. of the monitor?

I remember reading an article about this super rare-earth magnet that can have a 1/4 inch magnet fux0r up a computer monitor if placed within 30 ft of it. Anyone know?

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head are neodymium magnets. I doubt that's what you're thinking of though. I doubt even an NIB magnet a 1/4" big would have the flux density at 30ft. to mess with a monitor.
