What kind of liquor is Aftershock

Someone asked me earlier, and I had no idea. Is it schnapps? (Reminds me of Goldschlager which is cinnamin schnapps.)

i guess its a kind of schnapps, its under the liquer menu at my restaurant and at any other that i've seen, but it could be classified schnapps as well if you want

it comes in a bright red bottle or a clear bottle and the liquid is red

IIRC, Aftershock is Peppermint Schnapps. It's really thick and the only thing that every made me gag.
