What kind of Lexus does 160+ mph?

The internals of the GTE and GE are supposedly different but the GE can still handle and responds well to the added boost just fine. Here are some of the differences... from mkiv.com

The heads are very different. Intake & exhaust manifolds will not interchange. In addition the early GE heads are equipped with a cam driven distributor, where the GTE engine uses a crank triggered DIS ignition. Completely different camshafts are required.

The castings for the short blocks are the same, but the pistons are different, and the GTE short block is equipped with oil squirters that cool the underside of its pistons.
