What kind of job opportunities for photographers

I'm not a photographer myself but I really like photography and there are a lot that are very very good; you know, those kinds that make you go "oooh ahhh" out loud. And no portrait taking either, that's for gay guys. But people that take pictures of scenery and animals and abstract things, what could these skills be used for as a career?

Ok to clarify some things...I'm not looking for a photography job, hell I barely know how to get pictures from a camera to a computer, but I was just curious.

And no more pr0n. I meant specifically scenery, abstract, animals.

Good luck with that. I was self-employed as an advertising photographer for 10 years in an extremely competetive environment until there wasn't enough work to pay my mortgage. Even worked at Playboy for a while as a studio assistant.

Now I do something else, and take pictures for fun only.

There are very little good opportunities.
My father was a pro photographer for 25+ years, he gave up on it and started to sell photography equipment.
