What kind of fan for Radeon LE?

I'm thinking of buying a Radeon LE and I had a few of questions:

A) Do I really need a fan to OC it up to 166 MHz?

B) If so is a 50 mm fan right or should I use a 40 mm?

C) Suggestions for appropriate fans

D) Where can I get Powerstrip from?

No

I put a 50mm on one. Fits Perfectly.

C) Suggestions for appropriate fans
Whatever...a thin one is a good idea

PS here

Yeah, all I did for my Radeon DDR LE is use one screw (only had one on me at the time) and screwed it in. It holds it perfectly fine, and my heatsink rarely getes hot... even if warm.......

Have it running at 180/180 since I bought it. Not sure how high it could go, I just settled on this as it seems nice and stable in the games I run. You could bump it up till you get artifacts or lockups in games and drop it a few notches to your liking.

If you can get to around 183/183 on the LE without additional cooling you should be a happy chappy 🙂.

The LE card is pretty overclockable with decent cooling. I really haven't tried oc'ing it with stock cooling, but with a Blue Orb, thermal paste, ramsinks, 1 case fan blowing on top and another on the side, it can hold 200MHz Core and 400MHz RAM. Decent for a $130 Can card and 6ns DDR RAM. Just pick up a blue orb to be on the safe side.
