He looks an awful lot like the black dog in the wallpaper in the XP display properties (friend.jpg). I never seen his parents since my bro gave him to me around 2 weeks old.

I haven't a clue what he is.
 
My guess is part yellow lab and who know what the heck else. The shape of the body and the hair coat look like that of a yellow lab but the ears ... ?
