i have no idea what you mean. The file(s) are RLE compressed AVI short clip animations running at a 1600x1200 screen resolution on a digitall connected 1600x1200 LCD screen as they will be viewed with Windows Media Player 10 running on Windows XP Home SP2. Each File is about 1MB in size.

At this point, i dont think that a ramdisk will make a difference.

The only thing that is concerning me is wether the Video Legacy Renderers, such as YUV and RGB flippings, along with Primary Surfaces, will be used when Video Mixing Renderer is enabled by itself, without Overlay or High Quality Mode.

I would only be concerned about these Legacy Renderer settings for the purpose of being prepared when making the presentations so as to not wind up having to waist time going through troubleshooting.

Im also concerned as to why i get screen tearing running my slideshow screensaver, which is the same effect that takes place when running my animations in media player with video mixing renderer disabled.

But i guess i'll figure out these issues soon enough, maybe even by myself.
