The song is slow ... what kind of dance am I supposed to be doing with my mom ? What's the name for it so I can look it up...

Our first dance (with the bride) is all set... but I don't believe I should be dancing the same "box" with my mom ... right ?

It's easy to just change up your box step a bit so it's not the same routine.

there's nothing wrong with using a box step with your mother. as another poster said you can switch up what you do.

the beat and tempo should determine the dance, not the partner.
