What kind of culture is easier to assimilate?

Uneducated societies tend to cling to superstitious beliefs which, IMO, would make them harder to assimilate.
 
Culture assimilation is a very big thing nowadays I guess. People tend to assimilate what they feel is bigger, higher caliber in material and spiritual sense. Thus educated would be eaiser to assimilate b/c when you see there are educated people and you're not, you will want to reach the same objectively higher standard b/c it's more complex and more true.
