We are in need of a Trygve photo rendition of the second with a sign stating , "Yes, Nik - this is how I control my microwave.".

DSII with the Boom USB converter, but I don't think anyone sells that one anymore. It's good because it translates the D pad as buttons and not as an axis.

I use a pair of MS Sidewinder USB pads (the original one, just with USB instead of DB15--not the low-rent revamped one). But then again, all I use them for is 16-bit-and-earlier console emulation. When I upgrade my videocard soon, I'll be adding to the arsenal...

Playstation2 controller, I bought an adapter at Radio Shack for 10 bucks

I bought the same one. works great except for occasional rumble glitches.

The guy at radio shack kept trying to hand me a ps2-usb adapter for a mouse. He and his coworker denyed there was a psx-usb adapter. I finally made him look it up. He typed a few things into his pc, and just said "Oh." He walked in the back and came back with one.

The damn thing was branded with the radio shack logo. What kind of morons do they hire? 😉

uhm, I do lots of gaming, and the 2 controllers I have are my Dvorak IBM Model M keyboard and microsoft laser mouse.

xbox controller.

This the only correct response. You can buy a simple, Xbox > USB cable from sites like www.lik-sang.com

and then google the driver for it, download, install, perfection.

Even the rumble works.

The PS2/GCN/DC converters are far from perfect, and often fu ck up the analogue stick sensitivity.

KB/Mouse + MS Sidewinder 3D Precision pro (Version of MS's 1st gen FF stick minus the FF). I bought it in 1998, and it's still going strong, now I fear that my next soundcard will not have a gameport. 🙁
