What kind of camera do you use most often nowadays?

You should differentiate between digital P&S and digital SLR.

As much as I hate cell phone cameras, I grudgingly admit that my SKII cam gets the most use - it's always right in my pocket, and I can send the pics right to my website from anywhere in the world.
 
You need more options

Digital SLR
Digital P&S (not compact)
Digital P&S (compact)

I find myself using my K750 the most, mainly cause it's always with me. After that my Canon SD300, then my Pentax *istD (only when I go out actually wanting to take photos)

I would love an SLR, though...a bit too pricey for me at the moment.

Edit: Notice the SLR crowd wants their own category? *chuckle*
 
Ultra compact SLR. my Pentax Optio S4 or my Casio E 750. They go in my pocket most everywhere. Just started with the digital SLR..but it is a bit big to take everywhere.

Woot! I knew Canon fanboism would surface sooner or later. The OP isn't even asking the brand you use, and you still bring it up.

LOL - I have an aged A40, and only mentioned that because it's the brand I have..he's not asking about SLRs either, is he? Go rip on them. 😉
 
Digital, ever since I bought one.
I don't think the poll needs Digital SLR, Compact, non-compact, etc.. it's not a technical poll.
 
The question asks which you use most often, not if you use it exclusively.
I usually use a digital camera but still use film sometimes.

1 and 2 for me.

Panasonic Lumix FZ-15 here - love the zoom.. would like a bigger sensor on my next camera for low light condition w/out tripod - beautiful pictures. Why would I ever buy a film camera again?

Well, it differentiates between P&S and non-P&S film cams, so why not the same for digital cams?

I always wonder if the people that have both P&S and SLR use their P&S more, honestly.
 
use both my cellphone camera (Sanyo SCP-5500) and my digital camera (Nikon Coolpix 7900 in black).

i do turn down the resolution to 3MP on the nikon, because theres really no need for 7MP, and 3 looks great and is big enough for mostly everyone.
