Apparently my apartment complex uses some third party company to get the mail into the mail boxes and not the USPS.

So now that i'm moving and need the mail forwarded to my new address... I have to pay $16 to get that done. Alright, that's no problem,,, I go through with the process online.

Now I get an email saying only one name per purchase... I have four names (mine and family members') so that's $64!!

All you have to do is file the proper forms with the USPS. Done. Screw them.

Oh yeah! Duh...the USPS puts the little yellow label with your new address over the old address

well nevermind, it wouldn't work 🙁

Mail addressed to an addressee at commercial mail receiving agency (CMRA) is not forwarded through the USPS. After termination of the agency relationship, a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) must accept and re-mail mail to former customers for at least 6 months. After the 6-month period, the CMRA may refuse mail addressed to a former customer. The Application for Delivery of Mail through Agent (PS Form 1583) requires an addressee and agent to comply with all applicable postal rules and regulations relative to delivery of mail through an agent. For more information on mail forwarding regulations, contact your local Postmaster.

anybody know if the only option I have is to pay $64 to get some mail forwarded?
