What kind of antifreeze do custom loops like?

So when my Subaru needed coolant, I read up and discovered that import vehicles tend to need phosphates in their coolant to preserve aluminum parts and that silicates will corrode the aluminum but OTOH American cars need the silicates. So this got me wondering because last I knew there was a ratio of mixing water and a little antifreeze and water wetter with maybe some bromine to keep algae at bay but what type of antifreeze do they need?

There's no need to run antifreeze in a water-loop on a computer. If anything it will just cause problems. Just use distilled water and an algaecide like silver coil or something. Anything more is just asking for problems later on and will decrease the performance of your water-loop.

Seems like there are 10 threads about this just in the past few days :|
