I'm asking about the big flat one. Anyone know what it is for?

If no one knows, I will assume brain scorcher D:

UPDATE: Went back up there again, took this pics. Probably have cancer now.

There is no fence or signs like the other antennas, so still no idea what it actually is.

Looks like a microwave reflector panel sometimes used by mines and other large construction projects. Any really big industrial facilities downhill from there?

Is that up on a hill? Seems kind of low unless its at a higher elevation. Those are used as line of sight microwave relay - find the way its pointing and see if there's another on a distant hill.

The way it is pointed it could bounce a signal from Ft Carson to another panel to the southwest and from there to the Air Force Academy but based on the terrain it looks like it would be simpler to just bounce the signal from Ft Carson to the southwest and back up to the Academy. Of course it could just as easily be a civilian antenna but I didn't notice any facilities to the south other than Ft Carson.

Looks like an antennae from an old console tv. The kind your parents had that sat in the living room and you could put a plant on.

Have you guys never seen "Close encounters of the third kind...?"

It navigates aliens away from those cell towers... Duh...
