dude. I am running a 2500+ Barton at stock speed and it plays fine. Even wmp plays it.

the h.264 is messed up. I installed ffdshow, h.264 is selected. I check ffdshow for h.264 and it's installed. Rebooted. mpc craps out, vlc starts to play the file but the video is messed up. 10 seconds later the video goes black but the audio continues.

Oh well.
