Aaah! Sentences are your friend.

I would email newegg and ask them about it.

MSI video cards

None of those appear to be the card newegg is showing (though newegg's part number matches the 5950U at the top of the page).

Also, I would NOT buy a 5950Ultra right now with the new high-end cards coming out in a month or two and a RADEON 9800Pro available for about half the price...

The anandtech and zipzoomfly version is the FX5950Ultra red pcb version.
FX5950 Ultra-VTD256 is the newegg one.
FX5950 Ultra-VTD256 RED PCB is the other. Same except for the heatsink fan used.

If you need to buy now and don't wanna spend money in the next gen buy Radeon 9800Pro 128mb without doubt.

Curious? The at one newegg appears to have an "Outside Thermal Exhaust System" (OTES). That is, the warm air coming off the card is channeled or blown out the back (outside) of the PC case.

They both seem to have exactly the same model #. I'm guessing somebody may have the wrong pic posted. I'd suggest checking w/MSI to what going on (correct model #'s, or if they changed the cooling solution and not the model #)

Good Luck

If you're intending to spend $400-500 your best bet is to wait until the new cards are out. You won't find a *good* card for under $130-150 (a 9600Pro or maybe a 5900XT if you can find one that cheap), but there are plenty of dirt-cheap ones available (such as a GF4MX). They're just not very fast.

If it did indeed suck the air out then I would have gotten that one but it actually sucks the air in which is bad for me because all my hot air gets blown out the back and I would just be suckin hot air in rather than out.

The one at newegg has a MSI part # MS-8946-001
The other is # MS-8946-004. Looks like the green one at newegg maybe a first version of the card from MSI.

Hey PCTweakers5 you wrote

Sounds like you've checked it out, but that seems counterproductive to suck in the air from the back, cuz I'm guessing then the "hot" air is blown unto your PC case? What am I missing, I don't get why that is desirable.

I've got an Abit OTES (Ti4) which I liked cuz it blew the hot air out back outside the case. I have a fan on the side which blew cool into the case on to the Abit vis card. Worked well.

Too bad, I was interested in that design before you alerted me it works "backward".
