Just call your current ISP. Some will allow 2 different accounts for a low price, like $30/month. Mine does.

/me cries. I moved 16 months ago (parents wanted a bigger house and a nicer neighborhood) and the new area does not have dsl/cable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN IT!! I had DSL for over a year in the old house then having to go back to dial up was the WORST TRANSITION EVER!

Anyways, I used MSN while 2 users were using it at the same time... MSN makes you use their crappy software you have to get some program to deciefer the username/password so you can just use it as a normal dialup instead of using there crappy program.

I was thinking of getting msn also. you say they allow more than one person to use the account at once? So we wouldn't have to buy to plans so my and I could be at the same time? and do you have a link to that program so i don't have to use the msn software?

FlexNet is $9.95 a month, no service contract...if you want to quit, just stop paying for two months, and it's cancelled, no questions asked...

I connect to a local ISP using a SMC Barricade router. It has a DB-9 port for our external modem. I've got 4 PCs that can share the one connection. It also has a 10 Base-T WAN port for when we finally can get broadband here. One really nice feature is the print server, so others on the network aren't dependent on a particular PC being powered up in order to print. I've seen it for as little as $45.00 after rebates or on sale. It sucks, but we're all careful not to hog bandwidth while others are online.
