What is yue and cui food?

A guy was in China on business and mentioned things he did. Someone else mentioned food and he said that he tried some of the Yue/Yu and Cui Cuisine and it was not that bad. He liked the Cantonese food in Nanjing better though.

Think he was in Nanjing and Hong Kong. I wasn't part of the conversation, just overheard it. I like Chinese food so I was curious.

Yue, or "yuet", is Cantonese food, from GuangDong.

I don't know what cui food is.

Nanjing is in the JiangSu province, and things from there is generally referred to as "Su".

Well, dunno what Cui food is, but Yue, I thought was Cantonese.

Yuan Nan, which is the southwest region of China. I recommand the two Netflix movies that I rented that features the "food & snacks" of the area.

Basic bugs and worms really.

Steamed dumpling made with dragonfly.

Field mouse roasted on open fire.

Parents cooking a child's pet cricket and making her eat it.

You should watch it if you like cooking and food in general.
