What's your uptime?

I think I finally need to reboot. After 90 days, 6 hours and 53 minutes, even WindowsXP starts to get a little wonky.... sh!t just ain't right.

I think I need more sleep or something...I just tried to click the "Close" button in your screenshot. :laugh:

I never really get more than two weeks of uptime, because I always end up installing or changing something (drivers mostly) that requires a reboot.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that actually like, uses their computer to do what Windows was designed to do.. multitask.

It's the task bar. Are you only allowed to have 1 task at a time or something? If I'm not done reading/with something, or am going to use/read it more in 2, 4, 6 or 24 hours.. what is the point in closing it?

FYI, there are two more lines of tasks below the one you can see.

745mb in use. You have multi GHz computers with gigabytes of ram. USE IT!

I typically have 20-30 things in the taskbar at work. I apparently have 58 processes running on this machine.

Thats pretty good, I can only keep mine up for an hour tops then it gets soft again.....

My dad's Dell system was up for almost 25 days before I had to reboot to change the network IP..

uptime.exe from Microsoft.

Or, right click on your network icon, choose status. Assuming you're on a LAN, it will show you total uptime as well as up/download stats.

3:30 hrs. I shut down when I leave work and when I go to sleep. Although it's been so damn cold lately, I'm gonna leave my computer on at home so it can act as a furnace in my room.
