  • Star Wars is just silly. It's not an uncommon sentiment for those who didn't grow up with it and watched it 'in a vacuum' as an adult. It's just silly. Is it neither serious nor campy. It's just a very shallow popcorn flick to me.

  • Pizza is overrated. So is bacon. Don't get me wrong, they're good. I don't think I actually 'craved' pizza badly before. But then again, I eat pizza a lot thanks to work lunches paying for 'em.

  • Before you decide your gender is binary or not, you should seek professional help for mental health. I mean this with utmost sincerity, because I believe mental health awareness and therapy are very important to EVERYONE.
 
  • I would uninvent social networking and mobile phone internet access.
  • Birth control would be widely available and free.
  • One child per household restriction.
  • Mandatory recycling across the US.
  • Absolutely no phone use or screens in a moving vehicle.

2 was a total WTF for me. It was so bad that even main characters' costumes started to look silly - like a bad comicon getup. I remember a chase scene Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity had to go through a subway turnstile. They each did some crazy acrobatics to overcome the turnstile... it was so damn cringey, grown men doing that crap.

Neo did some elaborate full-on flip, Trinity did some both-legs-forward slide, and Morpheus did something terribly bad.

That's okay because the movie was redeemed by Morpheus DJing a sick underground resistance rave party.

It was the first one, about the movies.

I like The Pirate Movie (from the 80s) too.
But I do agree the second Highlander movie was dreadful.

Nothing that distracts your mind or eyes for more than a split second. If you want to talk, text or look at a screen then you need to stop your 2 ton vehicle. GPS voice instructions would be fine as it's the same as a passenger looking at a map and giving you directions.

That's a tough one. Distracting the driver would be the same as them talking on the phone. Ideally the driver would be separated from the passengers like a limo. Would you want your driver 100% focused on the road or would you want them to try and drive while trying to follow your conversation?

That's a tough one. Distracting the driver would be the same as them talking on the phone. Ideally the driver would be separated from the passengers like a limo. Would you want your driver 100% focused on the road or would you want them to try and drive while trying to follow your conversation?

I guess we can't have a stereo anymore either. No beverages or food in the car either. Not sure how you can limit mind distractions without some sort of neural implant that detects non-driving related thoughts and shocks you when you fail to comply.

- The term "cutting the cord" is one of the dumbest terms I've heard in my life.

I also have quite a few opinions that are only unpopular on this forum full of nerds but in the real world they would be popular.

Story-wise it's subpar and needlessly convoluted under the pretense of being complex. FF7 was so popular because it was a first full 3-D FF game. And it was absolutely gorgeous. Character designs were catchy too.

Squaresoft's best made game is Chrono Trigger. It's JRPG at its finest. It hits all marks - innovative & fun mechanics, tight story, amazing art direction, and amazing soundtrack.

The only time your eyes should come off the road is to glance at your speed or mirrors. Both your hands should be on the steering wheel 99.9% of the time. Listening to music is much different that having a conversation. Only a selfish person would think it was ok to talk on a phone, text, play games, watch videos, eat, etc. while driving a 2 ton vehicle. Driving is the single most dangerous thing we do on a day so why not treat the privilege with respect?

I'm not trying to be a jerk. When I was younger I did a lot of stupid things in the car. Now that I'm older I realize they were all very selfish. I also now understand that if I had hurt anyone I wouldn't be a able to live with myself. Vehicles are no different than guns as they are both potentially lethal when not treated with respect.

I would add destroying any country that produces plastic.
Setting limits on the production of beef and rice.
Require spay and neuter on all domestic pets. Outlaw cat ownership.
Adding a disclaimer to any news story that if it wasn't just stated facts it may contain lies.
