what is your threshold?

It depends on the substance.
I only drank hard my first few years in the Navy (almost 10 years ago), but I found out that a couple of Tequila shots would make me miserable the next day.

But tons of beer or wine coolers wouldn't leave any notable effect in the morning.

wine coolers?

*man card rejected*

If I stick to clear liquors I can do double digits easily... the other stuff I can do about 8-9

Usually I still don't get a hangover but I have to sleep longer to feel rested and the next bowel movement wont be fun

Me too. I used to be able to really put Crown Royal away all night long and get up and go to work the next morning with no trace of hangover, but a fifth of cheap tequila would have me worshipping the porcelain god for hours...

On an empty stomach 5 beers is enough to get me a headache the next day. Otherwise, 8 is usually my threshold.

2 - 3

But only because I usually dance all night and get really worn out and beat. And plus I have massive insomnia so I'll be lucky to get 30 minutes of sleep. An hour if I'm lucky. So by morning I feel like total crap. Always have to lay around all day.

I don't get hangovers. Ever. No matter what, or how much, I've drank. And yes, I know it's absolutely true because I've done it all multiple times and never had the slightest adverse reaction the next day.

In fact, I seldom feel better than the day after near alcohol poisoning. Wake up early, listen to some good metal while cooking a nice greasy breakfast...mmmmmm.

25 years ago, there was no threshold. I never got the typical hangover (like many of my friends would). Never got the spins. Worst would be that I wouldn't be able to stand the thought of eating breakfast, but that was likely due to the sour crap I'd thrown into my stomach the night before.

Nowadays? Shoot, 2 drinks and I'm ready for bed!! 😉

Just depends on what I drink more so than how much I drink.

If I mix beer and liquor then I'm pretty much gonna be feeling like crap the next day but if I drink just beer or just liquor then I'm usually fine.

If I drink some gatorade before passing out and then a little more when I get up to piss in the night I never get hungover.

Hangover = dehydration

no idea. i'd imagine low. i don't drink and have never gotten drunk. majoring in biology has its downsides. 🙁 you don't do stuff when you know what it does to you.

I had the equivalent of maybe...6 or 7 last night and I'm peachy.

I say equivalent because I had 2 rum and cokes - but it was like 3/4 rum and 1/4 coke 😛 I like that bartender.

Not true at all. I'm fully aware, and still make the choice.

lucky you. i don't eat many types of foods simply cause i know of what they're made of. to make my point, don't try and think of how many different types of chemicals there are in the various burgers that people eat.
