what is your thermostat set to at home?

AC doesn't work. I wish we could keep it around 65-70 but my mom always fvcking puts it up to like 75. Way too fvcking hot.

Usually 78 or so is moderately cool for most of the house.... 76 would be comfortable at night when trying to sleep. If I set it to 73, it's too cold inside to be comfortable.

So considering I don't have to turn it down so low to be comfortable, I guess you could say I have a nice unit.

would take too long... i want to know what its set at during the day AND at night

I can't believe some of you guys have settings around 72-73°F. That's freezing, and here in Texas, the AC would be running 24/7 trying to keep the house that cool all day.

i don't care how long it runs (it is 100F today outside) , i want to be cool, so 73F keeps it nice and cool inside
my electricity bill last month with the heatwave was about $230 , that isn't bad
i have a ground source heat pump and the house is only 3 years old with good insulation/good windows and has a walk out basement

i want to be comfortable, if i didn't want to be comfortable, i would live in a trailer without A/C or in a van down by the river
