I remember some show saying that the triangle had gas that would bubble up from the ocean floor. That's bad because gas is much lighter than water, so the ship loses buoyancy and sinks.So if you had "one" theory about the Bermuda Triangle, what would it be ?

methane pockets releasing from undersea cavities, bubble up & ruin the surface tension causing boats to slip under. unsure how that would affect aircraft.

It was a really cool demonstration. I hope some science teacher tries to replicate that experiment in the class room.
