more ships, planes and people disappear in the Great Lakes area than in the Bermuda Triangle.

My theory is that with an Old Fashioned and a side of bacon, it would be delicious.

You guys are just so embedded in the system that you can't see it even when it's right in front of your eyes, maaaan.

methane pockets releasing from undersea cavities, bubble up & ruin the surface tension causing boats to slip under. unsure how that would affect aircraft.

A couple of accidents happened there and people started paying attention to that area as a place accidents happen. It's all probably confirmation bias from there on.

The ancient Atlanteans used to test the weapons developed with extraterrestrials there.

So if you had "one" theory about the Bermuda Triangle, what would it be ?
I remember some show saying that the triangle had gas that would bubble up from the ocean floor. That's bad because gas is much lighter than water, so the ship loses buoyancy and sinks.

It was a really cool demonstration. I hope some science teacher tries to replicate that experiment in the class room.

A very attractive area to boat and fly over, with beautiful destination islands. After that, shit happens. Even a warm ocean is unforgiving of carelessness.

Boats don't float because of surface tension. They float because of displacement.

Makes sense if there's a LOT of gas and the ship is barely buoyant.
