hrm...I was thinking Louisiana's would be mint julep or hurricane, but it's milk too. 😕 I smell a conspiracy.

In my home state of Alabama, the official drink was/is Conecuh Ridge, a bourbon or whiskey of some sort (I've never tried it). Due to some legal shortcomings of some people associated with the distillery or distributor, it's no longer allowed to be sold in Alabama.

As for my current state, Texas:

Texas... Shiner Bock beer

Huh... it's just plain Kool-Aid here in Nebraska (because it was created in Hastings, NE, where the Kool-Aid museum is located).

wow milk is popular...

"Did you know that: Milk has been proclaimed the official state beverage or drink in each of the following states

Arkansas | Delaware | Louisiana | Minnesota | Mississippi | Nebraska
New York | North Carolina | North Dakota | Oregon | Oklahoma | Pennsylvania |South Carolina | South Dakota | Vermont | Virginia | Wisconsin

That list must be incorrect, because the state drink of Nebraska is Kool-Aid.
[edit]
Never mind, apparently we have both a state soft drink AND a state beverage

I couldn't find anything substantial for Utah. It's definitely not anything alcoholic, nor a strong drink like coffee or tea.

The unofficial state drink for Southern Utah is Diet Coke, but I'm not sure if that hold true for the rest of the state.

Also, there's an odd law that makes it illegal to NOT drink milk. 😕

If I were to take a guess, though, I would say homemade root beer.
