What is your start page?

I've been using msn.com as my browser homepage for as long as I've been on the internet, but I've grown tired of it. It was good before since I always could get to hotmail from there, etc. but I'm wanting to move over to using my gmail account for all of my email (hotmail sucks).

I really like all of google's stuff but I don't know what would be a good "start page" with them. For instance, I'd like to have a start page that includes the latest news/weather, etc. (since that is the *only* time I see the news) and google's news site really sucks ass.

So, just looking for some ideas :)

I never see my homepage as I just launch IE from a URL bar right in my task bar.

I still use dialup. I don't want to wait for some crap to download every time. Plus often, halfway through loading a webpage, it'll delete whatever you've typed in the address bar (and then you have to retype everything). So the solution is to not load a webpage.

I wrote a simple HTML frames page that has categories on the left frame. Front page has a google search and most-used links. Categories include "Money" with links to my account, "Music" with links to band's tour pages, etc. Easier than a favorites menu, for the ones that never change.
