I could believe it. All that anti-Bush propaganda takes up a lot of bandwidth :D

My DUMeter says I used 165GB (up and down) in August... but this is on DSL. I used to have cable and it was much faster... but it was also on a previous install of DUMeter... don't have those numbers anymore.

And yeah, 10GB is too low... I use anywhere from 5-7GB a day.

The Rainmeter skin I have includes an Up and Down bandwith meter and the most I've seen it up to is about 6-7 gigs (Down), 4-5 gigs (Up). That was with a 2-3 week uptime, it resets when I reboot. I'd imagine I used around 10 gigs last month considering I d/l'ed alot of game demos. Some of you need to lay off the pron, :p

wow, you guys suck, if I am below 150GB in a month that is rare. I have shaw and they say it is 'unlimited' so I figure, why not test it.

My record, i filled 3 250GB drives on my server with movies in about 3 weeks!

I've downloaded more than 9 gigs in one day... But I go in spurts. But I don't track that so I really have no idea what it is. Does Windows XP track that stuff automatically I can look for it somewhere?

Hard to tell. And it's hard for any ISPs to do anything about it. I live with 4 other guys in a college house, well only 3 other at the moment, but still take anyone's average normal usage in a month and multiply by 4. The high amount of students in this college town living together all sharing the same internet connection in a house means you'd have to be way off the charts for them to do anything.

Record is about 300GB Upstream in 1 month (used to have 1mbit upstream SDSL, connection was maxed out at 100% for a month straight. Eventually though, I was disconnected)

Downstream, these days not very much, probably 30-40 GB per month only ...
However, I have filled more than a 200GB drive in less than 1 month.
I blame that on newsbin.

Ohh, and one other mention, your poll is horrible.
I downloaded more than 10GB per month back when I was on dialup.

Are you sure they are "text" files and not "jpg/mpeg" files? ;)

At home 37GB (Soft Limit of 40GB, soft as it's not enforced) due to Linux Distro's, streaming content and sending data to and from the servers @ work..
At work 6TB (Maxed it that month) running game, file & update services for some clients & "personsal" use.
