I have FF, and occasionally use it, but IE is my workhorse, 8 and 9 (depending on OS). The reason is the highly customized row of direct links and icons to the sites I need to visit often. FF almost gets it, but not quite. I don't game and I don't surf to waste time. For me, it is a question of efficiency. And, I do not use tabs.

I use Chrome for this reason. Row of icons. IE doesn't allow empty names.

I used to be a devoted Opera user, but I've recently switched to SRWare Iron, a tweaked version(reports nothing back to Google) of Chromium(open source Chrome). All the latest versions of Opera have an issue where it would cause my GPU clocks and voltage to jump up and down at random and would cause me to suffer "Driver stopped responding and had the be restarted" errors.

Honestly, if you're paranoid of what a browser may send back to the mothership, why would you use Iron? How could you possibly trust them more?

Might as well just use a Chromium build itself.

People need to realize that Iron is a very misleading product.

If you take a look at what actually differentiates Iron from Chrome, you'll see that for most things, they just hardcode certain features like Google Suggestions off when all it takes to turn it off in Chrome is unchecking a box.

I keep flipping from Chrome to FF to Chrome... I prefer Chrome, but Chrome seems to get an earth shattering bug every few months that takes Google months to resolve.

I'n not using Iron because of that, it's just the most visible difference. I started using it because they offered a portable version and have a built in ad-block. When I first started using it, Chrome and Chromium had yet to have extension support built in. I'v kept using it since then because it works well and don't feel the need to switch to something else as it meets all my needs.
