The parody is the reason it exists. It doesn't mean I can't earnestly ask for menu suggestions even though I agree that it wouldn't be thread-worthy otherwise. Not sure how asking what others like to eat there makes me a loser. Am I a "complete loser" because I support my aging mother but cut her off from spending my money directly?

Yeah, I must be very dense, because I don't understand how you can claim to be parodying something and at the same time claim to honestly be seeking advice. And again, anyone seeking advice because they're unable to leave their comfort zone of ordering one single item from a menu should be seeking psychiatric help, not menu advice.

The deal about your mother is just pathetic. Maybe you should get some advice from ATOT on that front once you've figured out what you can safely eat at Panera without having an anxiety attack.

Hay guys, apparently if you create a thread with an extremely vague reference to another thread title and edit in a tiny underscore link, you've made a parody thread!1!

So, the whole thing about cutting his mom off for buying too many gift cards is a parody?

Panera is ok, not great. Wouldn't mind having one locally, but I don't feel too bad about it because we have a corner bakery and jason's.

Food is okay. Portions are tiny. I ordered a half panini for about $6 and got a tiny triangle of a sandwich.

The thread only exists because Panera Bread sounds like Parody Thread. People can make suggestions if they want to. Cry me a river.

Pure delusional fantasy. "Unable to?" Where did that come from? There is no "comfort zone." I'm suddenly in a situation where I will be eating there more often than I would like and, therefore, I WILL be ordering other things on my own. I already have my favorites. Since the name fit as a parody title, why not see what the rest of ATOT's favorites are?

The deal about your mother is just pathetic. Maybe you should get some advice from ATOT on that front once you've figured out what you can safely eat at Panera without having an anxiety attack.
Why do I need advice when I have already dealt with it as I explained? She is no longer able to spend my money. Go me! My mother is retired, aging, and senile which leads to regrettable financial decisions so I am taking control from her gradually as millions of people have done in past generations. It's a perfectly normal frustration. Nothing "pathetic."

I see over forty earnest replies to your supposed "parody". It looks like just another ATOT "Look at me. I'm a complete loser." thread.

It's a parody thread of my thread asking about opinions on parody threads. Are you that dense?

Edit: Seems like you already said you were. Whoops!

Love their food.

Pissing me off that they made their sides like macaroni so fucking expensive.

I am indifferent about Panera bread. I don't like too much on their menu. I always end up getting Chipotle instead. Both are expensive now...

Good food but it's overpriced. Getting a you-pick-two or whatever they call it combo can cost you nearly $10. The bagels are good.

I'm kind of confused as to whether this thread is about Panera or your mother.

Correct.

Expensive but if you are eating out you are not saving money anyways.

Food is good, I'll give it that.

Been doing soup and salad lately.

Went in one time, got a sandwich, was some crazy price like $8 and while it was fine, it was not even worth half that price. Extremely overpriced to me.

I don't care for turkey. However I never ate there.

In case your wondering what I ate for dinner this past Thanksgiving I had two stuffed chicken breasts with cheese and broccoli.

I've never been. I didn't think we had any around here, but it looks like there's one maybe 30 minutes away. Sounds like a decent place though.

You pick two - broccoli and cheese with a tuna salad on honey wheat role. Or a turkey chili and a steak and white cheddar panini. Love their soups - its better than any other chain stores soups in our area. The portions are light, but I prefer eating lighter so they don't have to roll me out to the car afterwards.

Its overpriced. And the place is always loud, even when its not packed.

A study buddy wanted to meet there once and it was a mess. Never again.
