What is your opinion of the Pacific Digital Mach 40 (40x16x48x) CD-RW?

Are they pieces of crap?

I saw them for less than half the price of Plexwriter 40x 16x 48x CD-RWs....why so much difference in price. Is the quality that poor for the Pacific Digitals?
