what is your level of seafood enjoyment

I voted all seafood, but I won't touch sushi. Something about eating uncooked flesh just doesn't appeal to me.

Before anyone says "try it", I have, a few times.

I don't like anything but NORMAL fish and shrimp. That's it. No crab, no lobster, no shellfish, no exotic tentacled creatures.

But MAN, I loves me my salmon. Just had some the other night. It's sooooooo goooood.

if it swims, i'm probably eatin it.

Octopus sushi was something I couldn't enjoy 🙁.

Favs - oysters, squid, shrimp, fish, crab, lobster.

I love almost any seafood EXCEPT:

Sea Urchin. - Anything that tastes like a sac of concentrated ocean essence is just plain wrong. The only food I've ever eaten that's made me gag.

Trout - Too bony, plus I just don't like it for some reason.

Crawfish - They scare me, plus I stepped on one when I was little and squashed its guts out. Ugh.

I love most sushi / sashimi though.

Just about everything except oysters and crab(crab legs are ok, just not that fake crab that they put in crab cakes)

i don't quite match any of your option

i like any COOKED seafood, raw oysters or sushi isn't to my taste
tuna/mahi mahi needs to be fully cooked, the raw in the middle thing i don't like

Crab cakes are made with imitation crab? All the crab cakes i've had used real crab.

And oysters... omg, my favorite seafood of all. Raw, battered deepfried... mmmmm

Born and raised in CA. I love all types of seafood, even the weird stuff like octopus or sushi or whatever. It sucked when I moved to MD though, I didn't have all the variety I had while I was living in the San Francisco area.

Why the big difference in taste between crab cakes and crab legs?

Fried is ok I guess just not raw (Gag!)
