I pulled a 180, first time I've ever taken a test, 5 points higher than my daughter, the school tested her.
 
I got a 72 when I took a real IQ test as a kid. I speak multiple languages, play multiple instruments at a virtuoso level, got a full ride to grad school for engineering, don't have any debt other than a mortgage, and solve extremely complex problems at a technology company as my day job.

IQ tests are awesome and are indicative of the real world.

This is why I laugh at anyone who thinks IQ is indicative of anything at all. Yeah, the entire capacity and capability of your brain can be folded into a single number ... LOL

Beethoven couldn't multiply numbers. When he needed to multiply for his finances he wrote out the equivalent addition problem and just added over and over again. There are many different types of intelligence!

Having said that, my IQ is 250.

what instruments do you play? I found that kids that play instrument at early age will develop better academic skills further in life.
