Even though it still works great, it eats like 1200 watts just to use the beast! Compare that to a new 46" LCD using 280 watts!

It was the first Toshiba direct view (tube) TV to use component inputs. Wonder if some TV museum might want it? Still gets a picture as good or better than any Trinitron made, too.

LG 46" @ BB? I hope you get in line early.

Last year we drove by BB at 10PM and they already had 60 people in line.

Of course it varies depending on geographic location, neighborhood, the deals and of all things - weather. Some cities you can get in line at 2AM and get in line with the first 10 people. Other cities like mine, there's already 300 people in line ahead of you.

If you're going to a popular store, GET IN LINE EARLY!!!!.

I was debating on if the 46" is too big for the boudoir. I dunno. A 42" would be plenty for it, me thinks.

Anything bigger than 46" in it would be too big, and I would have to reconfigure the whole HT setup, too.

Not really an impulse sort of buy (bought it "only" about a week after finding out about its existence), but I bought The Orange Box. Bought it on Friday. By Monday, I was finished with Episode 1, Episode 2, and the first 19 levels of Portal (still have the bonus maps left). Episode 2: most depressing ending I've ever seen in a video game.

The solution is clear, buy a new boudoir.

a new computer. i was planning on building one soon but i found good deals on all the parts i wanted right now. so i ordered them. i saved a hundred bucks or so, so its probably better this way. but i was planning on waiting a month or so. its a quad core shuttle. i have been wanting a shuttle for years cause they are so small and look awesome. i already have the case for it and it is sweet. i will have the rest of the parts next week sometime. it has been 4 years since i built my last computer. crysis on lowest setting does not look all that pretty. neither does unreal 3 :(

So I walked into Walmart to pick up some toothpaste and I walked out with some toothpaste, deodorant, and this. Yeah, I'm a fanboy, and I admit it.

Mine is pretty damn funny. We have a narrow area in our kitchen right where the refrigerator space is. The one we have now is kind of deep for the space, and sticks out in the room a bit.
I've been looking at the counter depth ones, with french doors and bottom freezer.
example.
My wife is like " no way am I spending 2 grand on a fridge".

This morning our fridge quit!

I just bought 2GB of RAM for my desktop. Debating on whether or not to get 2GB for the laptop.

An Elite Synergy compound bow. Now how can I go about getting one without the wife knowing. There is a dealer up where I'm at now(PA) that has two on ebay. Should I go down and buy one now, and somehow sneak it in the van tonight on the ride back to GA, not very likely she wont see it. Or should I go home and buy it on ebay, and have them ship it. Two problems with that method is the ebay is in her email address, and two, I never know when the shipping companies deliver. Lot's of time its in the late afternoon after I go to work.

Asus EEE laptop. That'd be pretty useful for my needs, but not really. :p

I got an iPhone 2 weeks ago, wasn't planning on getting one so early, but my mate said it was all this and that...it is sweet but it has some really annoying f0cking lack of features. But it has some sweet features :)

I bought a nice front and rear light set for my bike and 6 pairs of high end sports socks :D
