I'm 5'11" (almost 6', maybe i am) and 205 lbs. I think my parents may get me a queen size bed if the price isn't that much higher than full, just wanted to see what other people have.

The full i have now is pretty comfortable if its against walls, but when it doesn't have walls surrounding it, my feet hang off sometimes.

6'6", 230 lbs and I sleep in a Queen with my wife. We could both sleep on a single and I'd sleep comfortably. We have before actually.

I sleep in a queen. 6'1" 190LBS. I like to kick the walls and move about when I sleep.

If I were married I would likely be accused of domestic violence each morning.

King size bed

They make (consumer) beds a certain width, but don't give you choice on length! For me being 6'0, I always end up lying sideways on the bed (yes, even on a King size)............. Why no longer beds is my question!!! A 6'6 long Bed would be perfect!!!

What about basketball players? Do they have custom beds made 8' ?

California King that I share with my wife (and sometimes, my kids). It is just long enough for me.

It takes more room when you have two big dudes in bed together.

6'1" 250+ Cal-King with the wife, and with the two little dogs and one oversized cat, it's barely big enough...(it's amazing how dammed much room a 5 lb yorkie can take up in a bed)

I don't think physical size is the most determining factor. I'm twice my wife's size and I could sleep on a park bench, the wife needs a dance floor with all her flopping around.

I'm 6'4" and have a King size bed. A king and a queen sized bed are both the same length, the king is just wider. A California king is longer.

Even though a king size bed is as long as I am tall, it's still not long enough because I don't sleep with my head right on the headboard. I thought about a Cal-king, but then you've got to buy cal-king sheets and they're a little hard to find. You usually have to order them, you can't just walk in to a store and buy them. You don't typically have the same selection either (I'm very particular about sheets ever since I've tried ultra-high quality sheets).

I have a full sized bed in my old bedroom at my Mom and Dad's house, whenever I stay in that I have to sleep diagonally just to fit.

5'9, 155lbs, Twin

Depending on where I put my head on the pillow, my feet can dangle only slightly to a hanging from the ankle down. I pity the 6'+ people on twin beds.

They make extended length mattresses though. Any decent mattress store should carry them.
