Call me crazy, but I've found that Al-Jazeera has more balanced reporting than the majors, but ultimately

It is BBC that I check for news.

RT is entertaining for its propaganda. It's like Comedy Central, except that they are serious. :D

If its breaking news where the show the same event over and over for 10 hours most anyone one will do but I start of with CNN. For regular daily news I agree about Al-Jazeera. They seem to care less about celebrity anchors and more about the news.

Their news coverage definitely has lot more depth to it. I hope they don't come down to the level of riff raff cable news channels to compete with them.

One of the few shows I do not miss is Democracy Now, but I really enjoy RT's slant on world and US news. It is a nice contrast to the Phila Inquirer that I read every day. For the young people here this is known as a newspaper.

Four of them about equally so no one favorite, listed in order as they appear in the poll starting from the bottom, not in any favorite order: BBC, MSNBC, CNN, FoxNews

I get almost all my news from accuweather.com, and risky.biz everything else is either propaganda or marketing or both. Mainstream journalism is all yellow.

Only time news is on the TV is in the morning while getting ready for work. Its left at NBC Bay Area then followed by whatever the national morning show is.. Shows how much I pay attention to it.

Hmm, didn't really notice the "TV" part of the question. I based my answer on the channels' websites AND TV coverage.

For local news and weather, the local ABC affiliate. For national news and politics, Fox News.

As I grow older I find that I have a tendency to skip current events. I like to let them marinate and then read up on it. Spins are established and it is easier to see what is really important and not just the fluff du jour. (where is that airplane again?)

TV is the worst medium to get news from. Give me a newspaper or the internet any day.
