Thought this might be an interesting topic.

This is not if you were on a island and could only have one thing type deal. More like something you cherish and want to keep forever.

I have my grandfathers baseball glove, its from the 1930's. Its something I hope to pass down to my son when he is old enough.

My full frame camera... kind of. It's the first thing I'd grab in a fire. Into the garbage it goes if/when it stops working though, and I will sell it for the replacement cost. Fuck the rest?

MY KITTY

Weird to think of him as a "possession," though. For strictly material things, I'd go with my M1 Garand.

I would have to say the cross and Saint Jude necklace that belonged to my now deceased cousin. It still smells of his cologne. It sits in my fire proof safe and will probably be one of my greatest possessions until my mom and dad pass.

An original newspaper with the headline being the first 1,000 bomber raid on Germany. I want to say it has something about Patton smacking that kid around and being relieved of command as well.

or

A South Korean flag used at an army base during the Korean war and a piece of cloth carried by pilots during the war saying they are US airmen and to take them to the nearest US/Korean military installation in both English and Korean.

Taking my kitties off the table, and assuming my $thing could never be replaced, my Swiss army knife. For irreplaceable stuff, I dunno... Maybe the WWI picture of my grandfather.

Pretty much. It's a hunk of quartz that looks exactly like a piece of grotty old Dial. It's been sitting next to the bathroom sink for close to thirty years now.

You can even see where it was stuck in some cave boys mouth for grunting back.

none of my possessions seems special to me. If I thought I could trade in any or all of them for happiness, I would.

I guess the computer cuz I use it a lot.
